Becoming a better you!

Learning to love yourself and understand who you are is vital before getting into a relationship. People often make the mistake of thinking the reason that they’re not happy is because they are with the wrong person. Time and time again they tend to push loved ones away rather than bring them closer.

It is very important to take the time to understand who you are. Ask yourself these questions: Who am I? What am I really looking for? What will make me happy? What are some of things that others enjoy about me? What are some of things that they do not? How can I become a better me? What is my true worth? Remember you and only you know your thoughts.

Loving yourself first is key to you loving others. There’s an old saying, you can’t love others if you don’t love yourself, I believe that to be very true. Not all relationships that didn’t work out were bad ones. Sometimes people come into your life for a short period of time just to serve a purpose. Whether it is to teach you a lesson, to help you figure out who you are or to guide you in becoming the person you want to be. You never know who these people may be, but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment they will affect your life in some profound way.

Sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower or heart. Everything happens for a reason, nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Life is all about learning; understanding who you are and what you’re looking for could be the key to a very successful relationship.

"From success you get a lot of things, but not that great inside feeling that love brings you." Live, love and be happy.
